Commonwood Fishery is a coarse fishery set in 60 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside near to Wrexham Town.

Day Fishing –
SUMMERTIME – Gates open 7am and close at 7pm or dusk if earlier, please be offsite by 7pm.
WINTER HOURS – Gates open 08:00 and close 17:00 or at dusk ( which ever is earlier ) Please be offsite 15mins before dusk.
Night Fishing – Gates locked at 7pm – 7am no admittance to fishery is allowed after 7pm.
All anglers should stop at the lodge to sign in and/or pay for their day tickets before entering the complex further
Failure to do so is breach of commonwood rules.

Fishery Prices, Day ticket details & Available Memberships
Commonwood is a mixed day ticket and syndicate membership fishery, We offer day ticket fishing on all our lakes.
Day Tickets – Day tickets can be bought at the lodge 7 days a week for all lakes subject to peg availability. Gates open at 7am in the summer and 8am in the winter. Fishery closes at 7pm sharp please be off site by 7pm at the latest.
Night fishing ( 7pm – 7am ) is only permitted on Weston pool by non members, Night fishing on Weston is by pre booking only and you should be known to the fishery not first time visitors.
Associate Plus & Associate memberships – As well as paying for day ticket fishing at the lodge and taking pot luck on the day to which swims / pegs will be available ( commonwood is very popular at certain times ) regular visitors can apply to become associate members.
Associate membership is free and upon completion of registration details members will have access to the online booking system, this will allow associate members to pre book pegs on weston and catfish lakes ( including night fishing ) which is highly advisable during peak periods to avoid disappointment.
Associate plus membership costs £50 per year and in addition to associate level access also gives access to the llewellyn lake booking system ( including night fishing ) llewellyn can only be fished when prebooked and is not available to non members.
NOTE:- ASSOCIATE & ASSOCIATE PLUS BOOKINGS, PEG FEES ARE STILL APPLICABLE AND SHOULD BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL AT THE FISHERY

Associate membership is limited to 25 per year & Associate plus to 15 per year.
Syndicate membership – Commonwood also run a small syndicate membership. Syndicate membership allows members to fish all the lakes on the fishery ( excluding the cat fish pool ) including Snowdon which is predominately syndicate only, Syndicate members are also allowed night time fishing on Snowdon, Llewellyn and Weston, Syndicate members have access to the full booking system and can book both day and night sessions as per membership rules, Syndicate members must still log in at the lodge before entering the fishery.
Syndicate membership runs from January 1st until December 31st each year and costs £400 per annum, for further details about syndicate membership please call at the lodge or email the admin team.

Night time is syndicate only
Snowdon is now syndicate only
We do operate concessions for disabled anglers, oap’s and under 14’s on all waters, ask at the lodge when paying.
